Behavioural support for obesity prescribing

Supporting participants prescribed Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®)

Practical, non-judgemental wrap around support and the promotion of healthy and sustainable lifestyle changes.

Obesity is a complex health condition that affects people of all ages and backgrounds and influenced by biology, environment, and lifestyle—not just willpower. It raises the risk of numerous serious health conditions such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers. Managing obesity isn't just about losing weight but building long-term habits around nutrition, movement, and self-care. With the right support, alongside the prescription of Mounjaro®, individuals can make informed choices that improve their overall health and avoid restrictive or outdated approaches to weight management.

What is Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®)?

The active ingredient, Tirzepatide, works by regulating a patient's appetite so they feel full, making them feel less hungry and experience fewer food cravings.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has approved Mounjaro®, for weight loss and weight management in adults aged 18 and over. This was after it was evidenced that it was effective and safe to use for weight management.
